Most bikes are suitable, although very narrow tyres can be quite uncomfortable on paths such as the Wirral Way. All we ask is that your bike is safe, roadworthy and you carry a puncture repair kit and spare inner tube (a much quicker fix) - but don't worry someone will always be happy to help to assist you if required.  You will not be required to become a member for your first couple of rides.

Hooton Station (behind bus stop)

Sunday July 8th (C/D ride)

10:30 am start (sign in earlier)

Lunch: Okells Garden Centre

Leader: Sonia

Meet 10.15 for 10.30 start           C/D ride averaging  approx. 10mph

20 miles  to lunch at Okells Garden Centre, at Duddon, near Tarporley

Option to eat own sandwiches at the packhorse bridges near Christleton, then to proceed to Okells for drink & facilities

Return via Chester station  8 m, or possibly further 13 m back to Hooton,

or along Greenway towards Neston, depending on requirements of the group

Route outward - from Hooton station, Childer Thornton, Little Stanney, Wervin, Mickle Trafford, Packhorse bridges to Okells
