Most bikes are suitable, although very narrow tyres can be quite uncomfortable on paths such as the Wirral Way. All we ask is that your bike is safe, roadworthy and you carry a puncture repair kit and spare inner tube (a much quicker fix) - but don't worry someone will always be happy to help to assist you if required.  You will not be required to become a member for your first couple of rides.

Start: Bache station (Morrisons bike racks)

Sunday Sept 17th 10:30 am start (sign in earlier)

Lunch: Bangor on Dee

Leader: Tony


Trains arrives 10.06 & 10.22am


Lunch: Bangor on Dee. Picnic area adjacent to the B on D bridge. Two good pubs just over the bridge.


Outbound Route: Blacon, Saltney Bridge, Kinnerton,Rossett, Marford Bank, then around the western fringes of the Wrexham Industrial Estate (on nice quiet lanes).

Bangor on Dee is 22 miles, some hills.


Returning to Bache Station


Return: Worthenbury, Shocklach, Farndon, Aldford, Bruera, Huntington, Caldy Valley Nature Park, Hoole to Bache.

Bache Station 22 miles, some hills.


No early exit on these routes.
